This is a kind of photo diary, starting at the bottom, but 21st June was the culmination of all the work by all the people with the financial help of the local councillors Ward Discretionary Budget and CSV/SNH Action Earth.
Thanks to all who were physically involved in what has been a rewarding time as we have, by hand, claimed back a small piece of pond for the wildlife. The whole project has been great fun as we have explored the dynamics of pond life together. We still do not have the full story of how this pond works, and we need to do a bit more yet, but we do have a piece of the earth where we have made a difference.
Visit the pond this summer, take a few sandwiches and read about Neil Gunn, enjoy the amazing view, and feel free to contact us and join in on future projects.
